I also wouldn't entirely discount Col Sylvia from the equation. He probably isn’t in the fray at the moment, but will be in the mix next time.

I would have thought Sylvia was under serious consideration, and that he himself would be quite eager at this stage of his career, to join the leadership group.

Grimes looks alot like John Terry imo.

Never thought about it, but yes, a similarity is definitely present.

On Sylvia, he strikes me as a natural leader, but some of his past behaviour could prevent him from being captain. In terms of the leadership group, though, I think he would be a good fit.

Sorry, just to clarify, my above post was refering to him being under consideration for a leadership role, not for captain.
