Who are you using for the captaincy loop?

edit the poll please, put in Goddard for one of the Stantons

Goddard or Stanton? hmmmmmm tough one

oh well I guess if I stuff that up, I can always fall back on GAJ/Swan :D

Could some kind Sir please inform me of this captaincy loophole? :)

Is it when I have a player (i.e. Stanton) as my VC and if I'm happy with his score (and want it doubled), I put the C on a non-playing player (i.e. Stevie J)?

Correct.

And if you not happy with Stanton's score, then put C on next best option and hope they score more.

I will probably be going Goddard (VC), Boyd (C).

V goddard C boyd. Swan v port looks good to. Ive only got goodes and vlas who might miss since ive traded selwood and birch out. If im happy with goddards score and switch the C to goodes and he misses, the emergency on the bench score wont count right?

The emergency WILL count, however their score won't be doubled, the vice captain's score will.

Goddard (out of Goddard, Heppell, Cox, JJK)

If I had Stanton I'd be inclined to go him, cos if he can manage to avoid/handle his tag his ceiling could be Craaaaaaaaaaaazy

I'm still undecided whether or not to use this loophole tonight. I could put SJ on the field but then my Emergency is being used automatically and with all the late withdrawals this year, I'm not sure if I want to risk it.

It might backfire and I do think my options in Watson, Goddard and Heppell will do well tonight but I think i'm happy to back Ablett/Swan in and have back up on my bench incase I get a late withdrawal.

I can see where you're coming from. I think you need to weigh up if the extra points are worth the risk and whether or not there will be extra points in it. For me, I don't see a huge risk of late outs with my forward line. I for one don't have Cloke which would be the most obvious of the lot. The rest of my forward line is quite similar to my opponents this week and it's an important league game for me so the way I see it, is if there is a late withdrawal, my opponent will probably have them as well and his back up is Mayes who I don't think will get up for this week so it'll be a stale mate which is fine by me as I'm not in the top 1000 which makes it basically impossible to go for overall these days.

Stanton will be my vice, so for him it's either go huge, or nothing at all. Could be a big bonus if he gets 140+ which I wouldn't put past him against our mob at the moment

This is for the normal captaincy in this post ...

Showers/Rain in Gold Coast today to Sunday morning (Ablett). <---- Saturday afternoon game

Shower or 2 in Adelaide tomorrow & Possible shower Saturday (Swan). <---- Saturday afternoon game

Possible shower tomorrow & Saturday in melbourne (Boyd). <---- Saturday night game

How many will go Boyd as captain vs Melbourne?

If I had Stanton I probably would use the loophole just because of his ceiling. If he is left to run free tonight he could potentially score 150+ so it would be worth the risk. Still undecided.

I don't care if GAJ is playing in a knee deep flood, I'll still back him in to score 130+.

Would prefer Goddard I think but depends on team selections to have a non player.

Will go Cox or Natanui unique option with guaranteed SJ loophole available

At this stage backing Griffen in for captaincy against Melbourne over Ablett :o

Not going for the loophole as I don't think Heppell, Hibberd nor Goddard will score 120+. Hope they do but don't think they will.

Going for Swan overall captain over Ablett also. Thinking Swan will score more against a Port side with better weather than an Ablett will in rain and against Van Berlo.

Naismith comes in handy with the loophole! Less chance of a ruck being a late out and screwing with your plans!

What will Van Berlo do? lol
He is really bad and has had a terrible year, if he indeed plays head to head with Ablett this week Gazza will get his biggest score of the year.
