Gee... there are certainly a few former undersized, unathletic hustlers doing nicely in the NBA right now. This fits right in with my theory that it is easier to make the pure basketball talent athletic than it is to make the athlete to pick up basketball.

The Booze has taken out player of the week along with KG. Going from strength to strength. Going to take out the MVP before the season is through :p .
Still, officially my favourite player in the league now and his fantasy numbers get better by the day.

Another great performance from Carlos today, with 23 and 16.

In the past 5 games, he's averaging 23.4ppg and 16rpg. Isn't a more in form player in the league right now.

Well, there isn't much depth at the 4/5 in the East, and he certainly is the form big man of the league, so yeah, he'd have to go awfully close.

Would be a fitting honour too.

The only 3 bigmen I can think of that are almost certainties in the East are Big Ben, O'Neal and K-Mart. Boozer would have to come under consideration.

Vin Baker anyone? (after all it is a party weekend!)

Seriously though Boozer would be worthy selection to an East All Star team. The other players worthy of consideration are:

Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Zydrunas Ilgauskas

SA_R has a good game but he has never been on a winning team that to me makes him suspect and not as worthy. Z man is a decent offensive player and defense has improved however I would say that Boozer is better then both.

Having said that the only thing that may keep Boozer out of the AA selection is that Z man is 7'3 and the East team may need some height to combat Yao, Miller and Shaq (or combination there off)

Not to mention Duncan and Garnett. The West is huge!
