FOUR goals from Darcy Vescio helped Darebin Falcons secure their third win of the VFL Women’s season on Saturday. Shes now 5th on the goalkicking for the season with 8 goals.

Kate Shierlaw kicked 2 for the opposition.

Tayla Harris had her first run on the weekend in the VWFL for St Kilda, evidently playing well but scoreless. Shierlaw kicked 2 for Uni. Davey was 'dominant". Stevens, Lucas-Rodd and Keryk named in the best, as was Carlton rookie Maddison Gay who kicked 4.

Sounds like Maddison Gay will be great for us. Bit of a pity that with the new rules for next season we won't be able to activate her until a player is injured.

Good to hear Shieraw works well when moved around the ground too.
