Game Changers to kick off season at home

Carlton will take on Collingwood in the first round of the AFLW season.

THE GAME Changers will kick off their 2022 season with a traditional blockbuster against Collingwood at IKON Park on Sunday 9 January at 4:10pm (AEDT).

This will be the fourth time in six years the arch-rivals will go head-to-head in Round 1 – a clash that typically generates an electric atmosphere.

Pretty much best available for R1, so a good chance for the squad to gel.

Gibbs is on the inactive list, so not playing this year. Hill still coming back from her ACL, don’t know about Laloifi but possibly just rested to give all the new girls a crack. Looking forward to hearing how they go!
