I don't think official club training begins until the end of the month. AFLW contracts kick in near the end of November and run to the end of March (5 month contracts)

Although the paid contact time has increased so I think it is 3 training sessions a week now vs two in previous seasons. Although players were doing unpaid training at the clubs (gym work etc) when they could.

A bunch of players would have been training the past few months together at the local footy oval.

Carlton has finalised its AFLW coaching panel for next season, with Brad Fisher and Steven Salopek signing on as assistant coaches for the Club’s 2019 campaign.

Under the leadership of senior coach Daniel Harford, the pair joins senior assistant Shannon McFerran who has transitioned to the AFLW program after coaching the Club’s inaugural VFLW side this year.

A pity the tin of milo has a cricketer on it and not a footy player.
