Gee there were a lot of blues fans there! Was a brilliant site especially when they were all standing up and clapping in unison after the win as the team gravitated towards them.

Through pure coincidence, there were two particular sections behind those goals. There was one, filled with 80% Blues supporters at least. Then there was the one next to it, filled with 98% Eagles supporters - I was in that section.

Seriously there was like only me and one other guy in that section making noise - I've literally lost my voice in my attempt to do my bit against the Eagles supporters around me.

However it meant I could get down and give the guys a pat on the back after the game - Just a shame we dont get to see them more often.

My voice is gone 2. But I get to go to work tomorrow and work with a bunch of eagle supporters!!! So I think I will find it by then.

Also on that did anyone else notice how the Eagles supporters went flat and very quite in the second. But even when the eagle where killing us we were still supporting???

There were some upset wce supporters with the singing on the trains though

should have been more "tuned in" mate. i was rockin it to lily of laguna on the couch during the final term! Massive effort by the WA fans!!!

WA Blues would love to take credit for the fantastic banner - which made the paper here in WA- but it comes from the awesome cheer squad we have in Melbourne. We just have to pick it up and get it out there on the day. A big thanks to Gaylene and the crew in Melbourne.
WA Carlton supporters rock ! We have over 2350 fully paid up members here in WA and it sure sounded like that last night. Apparently in the coaches box last night Ratt's was commenting on a play and Bailey said "I dont know about that, but can you hear them singing the song - I have never in my life heard the song sung with 10 minutes still to go" Ratt's said "yeh I know" and just laughed.
Well done everyone. It was worth waiting 8 years for.

I could not concur with these two posts more!...

It is a shame we have no more games at Subi this year... Next year, if in the country, I will be making sure I get over there again to sample the WA hospitality once again... this time I will stay the night BG... just so I can soak up the Perth nightlife, celebrate another Blues win and watch you crawl around searching for a cigarette on the pub floor
