Mic'd Up - Paddy Dow

Just watched this and there was 3 things I liked about it:
1. He went up to a coach and asked if he could go through some tackling. Love the kid putting it on himself to do some extra work on it, not just kicking goals or the exciting stuff but something workmanlike like tackling. Great mindset.
2. Crippa giving him some coaching, shows he's a leader at training as well
3. Cripps taking the set shot and slotting it under pressure. Needs to so it in a game now though. Need to look at that run up I reckon, the stutter hasn't worked for many and it hasn't for him so far.

West coast would have taken him before our pick - besides looks like he'll ask for a trade back to WA already...

Loved how Tim was a big fan of Juddy as a kid, so much so that when Judd came across to Carlton, Tim and pretty much his whole family stopped supporting eagles and switched to Carlton

Good get by the cats

West Coast traded away this years first, for picks last year they banked on netting them Kelly & Ryan.

#26 & #32 were likely left aside for Kelly & Ryan respectively. Geelong took Kelly @ #24. He was always out of our reach, unless we kept our #16

Loved it. I especially like him backing up Bolts. The way the question was framed and presented to Liddle was very much in the field of "Here's a softball question for you to politely condemn what Bolton did and say Coaches shouldn't get involved". Instead he backed Brendan in and almost encouraged him to keep it up. They even gave him a chance to "clarify" his answer, basically a second chance to say it's not good. Instead he went a step further and said it's his right to do.

There seems to be great synergy in the upper levels at the moment, between the coaches and management. From Bolton repeating the same messages, Judd backing him up and expanding in his articles and TV appearances in spite of 3-on-1 battles and now Liddle backing up the philosophy when pressed to go the other way.

Get some of that cohesion on the field and then see how far we get!

Can you please put that quote as your sig and not part of your posts L_O.
Been wanting to ask the same, but didn't want to seem rude or petty. Sick of reading it thinking it's part of the post, getting halfway through and having a mini-rage in my head.

That show was hilarious last night. Sam Pang is a seriously funny/clever guy and even Mick was in fine form.
The talk about the game in China was side splitting, and the ins and outs for the Royal wedding :D:D:D
But Vinnie stole the show...especially his commentary on the umpire telling him he was clear and to keep going, absolute gold.
