So much love for George.
Becoming one of my favs.
Once again, thank you Nick Austin
Anyone would think that the media just respond to current form. Now that we are 4 /1 they are saying that we are going ok. Hard to argue the opposite. But when we were 0/4 they weren't too complimentary. Should we be shocked?Media has been pretty good to us all season IMO (bearing in mind i rarely watch the panel TV shows and listen to the wireless shows anymore, Hutchy killer SEN for me)
Generally speaking, winning and playing a asthetically pleasing brand of footy helps.
Don't think anyone out there is out to 'get us' anymore, put it that way.
Robbo and the other Essendon sycophants in the media have been coming down on * hard in recent weeks, and I couldn't be more happier.
- Charlie hasn't hit his ceiling yet
- Small forwards doing all the right things, waiting for the moment when Harry & Charlie aren't dominating
- Hewett was fantastic recruit; also awesome off-field
- Have a plan for Taberner this weekend and aware of opponents trying to drag Weitering away from the action
- Hamill beaming about working with Weiters and Doc

After round one it wasn’t yet evident then that there was a third “recruit” who might vault the long dormant Carlton up the ladder.www.theage.com.au

Much better! Is it too much to ask the afl to give the people asking questions, some sort of microphone, so that we can hear the questions?

3. Percentage is a great guide
“We’ve got enough data now, six games in, we’ve got enough of a guide, and percentage is what you want to look for.”
“The only team in the top eight without a percentage of 100 is Carlton

Worth reading
Everyone above us bar St Kilda have got a percentage booster against North or West Coast under their belt already.I also agree that percentage is generally the right guide to determine finishing levels, but as yet, the sample size is low.
Generally halfway gives you better data
Everyone above us bar St Kilda have got a percentage booster against North or West Coast under their belt already.
Even a 120-60 belting of North only brings our % to 106%.Hopefully we can do the same
Even a 120-60 belting of North only brings our % to 106%.
If we won 120-60 every game going forwards, according to my calculations our % would be pretty good.Best bet at the moment is to continue winning and to minimise the thumping in losses
