I think it was also more than just minding Butters. You could see him make contest situations and hold the ball up that Cripps/Hewett/Kennedy dont have the speed to get to around the middle.

There has been some debate on whether we simply need more leg speed in the side. In a way, Cincotta answers that question. And the context to apply to this debate is 'when we dont have the ball'.

Yes, with ball in hand other things like decision making, kicking skills are more important. We just need more speed when we dont have the ball. More balance.
