I agree, normally I would say VB, but Carlton on Tap is very drinkable, dare I say the Only good Carlton comes in a Glass

not aiming at any particular beer.. but i love drinking long necks straight from the bottle not fussing around with glasses etc.. its gives me a real sense of boganism (new word look it up )

for some reason, maybe cause they reduced the alc/v, i've gone off carlton. have only bought the odd pot/schooner of it over the last few years. VB is ****, but at least you know you're drinking somethin'. I'd take a melbourne long neck over both of 'em.

Are they running melb Bitter promos down Melbourne way or something? Because MB is starting to rip into Carlton Draught sales down there apparently.

You'd think so (as I did) but apparently not. Carlton Draught is decreasing slightly in share, while MB is slightly increasing. VB has recently recorded its best beer sales in over 10 years, partly to do with the Talking Boonies.

hahaha, yeah if you go to NZ you'll get that price.

The 60%+ tax that the Aus Gov put on beer means you'll never get it cheap.

But you can feel safe in the knowledge that when you buy a carton of beer, that the taxman gets more than even the brewer

MB is the new beer for yuppies...I know i dont believe it either. Price has gone from $28 a slab to now more than VB at $37. Pure Blonde is also very popular with the blokes these days. It started out at $27 a slab and within 2-3 months its now $39 a slab. I work part time at a bottlo while im at uni if u hadnt noticed

MB is the new Yuppie Beer Simply amazing! They must've given up on empire lager when they worked out it was the exact same brew as Premium Dry.

On the cost of your Pure Blondes, when they first hit the market they were priced in the Premium range.. around $45-55, but it was too hard to seel and has been sitting $3-4 above your VB types since, well at least here in SEQ.

You got any Matilda Bay brews at your bottleo Smokin?? Specifically their 'Barking Duck'?

Stellas are awesome
coronas are mexican p!$$. Like Fosters made for export only, they hate it there.
asahi is a top beer
Boags St George is quite possibly the easiest beer to drink. No bitter taste at all...
Pilsner Urquell is prob my fav beer. Love it.

Just on fosters, do you know that the exported fosters is really crown lager??
