How was Flynn Young’s performance?

Is he ready for senior side?
Almost game. Zip and knows where to be as a link player. Lost his footing and fumbled a bit / a couple poor decisions.

Looked good to me though. Looked like First game at a new club type stuff to me

NOTE: best viewing for phone/tablet is via the AFL app's live state league games option on the home screen, which can then be cast to a TV that supports it (should look and perform better than screencast).

Binns is obviously now missing from this team, but Lewis Young and White were on the plane as well. Final team tomorrow morning.
Given the geography, probably expecting two of Young, Boyd and White to come our as AFL emergencies, if not all three.

Would love another look at Flynn Riley if Lewis Young stays in the west.

I'm hoping they'll play Harvey up forward.

Nash King - 23rd man for the VFL Blues today.

"Nash King had to fight through adversity this year to showcase his best form. Coming off a strong bottom-age campaign where he represented Vic Metro, the midfielder sustained a hamstring injury in preseason and went on to make three more appearances in the Big V as a top-ager.

He produced a strong back-end of the season, stringing together a run of four Coates Talent League games with 30-plus disposals between Rounds 16-19. Around 14 of his average 24 disposals this season were handballs, indicating his high concentration of stoppage possessions.

King sees himself as an explosive inside midfielder in the mould of Patrick Dangerfield or Jason Horne-Francis. He boasts an explosive side-step and is clean at the contest, able to win first possession and distribute cleanly to teammates. He often has no trouble racking up the ball.

While he has his inside game down pat, becoming a more expansive outside runner and ball user will enhance King's hurt factor. He has sought to improve his outside game and was made to double in a few roles this year due to Vic Metro's prolific mainstay midfielders

Liked the support and poise of Duffy the two times I have seen him. Like the Flynn Young pass into the corridor in the first quarter. Lemmey moving well and marking well. Wilson with plenty of ball and great efficiency.
