AFL Club
St Kilda
Won three in a row and now coming out from every nook and cranny. Fans barely sited since bigfooty begun. Is this Carltons best effort since 1995? Will we see a dvd like my own club came out with but this time titled "The three game blitz" Never seen so many blues up and about. Carry on. :)

Strangely enough, I'm being given a gobful by some fellow Carlton supporters because I'm not drinking the same Kool-aid and blowing my load right now.

There are some Blues fans going a little over the top at present and can't see any problems on the horizon.

There are others who have both eyes wide open and are fully aware that it is a long season and anything can, and normally does, happen.

After a shitty past couple of decades, do you blame them? Not like you guys can talk either.

Always the case.

I'll be mindful not to lump you all in the same basket.

5 in a row and undefeated in 2022*

Including a pummelling of the hopeless Saints and a spanking of the reigning premiers.

Deal with it
That's funny, Carlton hasn't beaten Melbourne since 2016?

As a fellow perrenial loser surely you can see why a few success starved Blues fans are up and about?

Some of the younger generation of our supporters were only little kids or not even born the last time we won a flag or were a force come finals time.

One week at a time. One win at a time.

Until we can play 4 quarters of consistent sustainable football the lid is still firmly on in my house but I don't mind the younger generation having a bit of Fun

and Pride with us being 3-0 because we have been absolutely shithouse for the last 10+ years with very little joy for them to celebrate.

My brother was a child when he discovered footy during the very dark days of the Pagan era. I am very happy for him to see some success now, he's been loyal his whole life and deserves it.

As much as I hate em Carlton supporters are pretty loyal through the tough times.

Hawthorn though, they love going into hibernation when challenged by the rare lean times.

Well, when you feast so voraciously during the plentiful times...

Oh like when our club nearly died and our membership blew up and attendances increased by 10000 the next few years despite some shit footy? Remind me when Hawthorn or Fremantle was relevant to this discussion, not that impressive support for a two team major city.

Carlton haven't even done any damage yet - that's the scary part.

Imagine the scenes when the Bluebaggers actually start putting away some decent sides and potentially booking a spot in the finals. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

That being said I'm finding it equally compelling watching the collective deflation of supporters who have long lauded their relative success over the Blues, and watching opposition supporters of different clubs holding hands and consoling each other in match day threads.

Keen to see how this season plays out.
