The way I think we'll line up...
FB: Armfield, S. O'Hailpin, Thornton
HB: Stevens, Waite, Scotland
C: Walker, Murphy, Simpson
HF: Gibbs, Fisher, Houlihan
FF: Betts, Fevola, Kreuzer
RR: Cloke, Judd, Carazzo
Bench: Ackland, Bentick, Bower, Russel
Emergencies: Jamison, Jackson, Edwards
I think Fisher will be named as CHF, with us not really having a true one throughout the game. Fish, Fev and Kruez will play as our 3 forwards, with Waite a back-up option. I think Ackland will get the 2nd ruck spot, although my preference would be Aisake O'Hailpin. I think Bentick will be needed. And i think Russell and Bower will be preferred options on the bench, although Jamison could easily replace Bower any round. And i think Hadley might not be fit enough or ready and might take a couple of weeks to find a place in our team

I don't think Richmond have enough tall forwards to worry us so i would play Waite up forward. I'd also play the 4 defenders in Carlos, T-Bird, Jammo, and Bower because i don't know who to drop (im a big fan of Bower), and i think Jammo, Bower, and Thornton all can play small, with Bower even moving onto the wing if he has to. I'd have Aisake as my 2nd ruck, with Hampson next in line and Ackland in the reserves. Kreuzer will come off the bench to pinch hit in the ruck and play in the forwardline, especially if Waite is forced to play up the ground or go back throughout the game. Bentick is needed to get the ball outta the packs. Jackson, Grigg, Hadley, Russell, and Anderson all narrowly miss out

Yea,sounds like many ppl dont seem to rate Hadley.He will definately be in the best 22
I think he will be eventually, but it's gonna take time for him to fully recover from his injuries. And he's apparantly a lot slower now
What happen to him besides the knee?i know he had something wrong through preseason but didnt think its all that serious.
gotta say with that defense, I am really looking forward to round 1

Jamo will play round 1 if you ask me. Has bulked up considerably since last year, and really has been training well. In fact, he could even take over the FB position from Carlos.
Waite playing back is still the interesting one for me. Sure, he showed some encouraging signs there last year, but my main concern is who is going to play in the kep forward post. Cloke could, if his shoulders hold up, or someone like a Fisher might be able to play a different kind of CHF role.

If Jamo does play FB from Round 1, I would like to see Carlos played at CHF. He leads well to the ball & when he takes time to steady most times hits a target with his disposals & is capable of kicking goals from the 50. I really believe that Carlos plays his best footy in the forward half of the ground. I remember him kicking 7 goals against Williamstown, at Willy (it should have been 9, as he shanked 2 gimmes) in his first season at the club and felt he was a natural forward.
Was Jamo upgraded off the rookie list? If he wasn't how would he play round 1???

Hampson will be in the team for sure. Why is there another thread on our best line up? Didn't u read the others? If you did you should have posted your team then! Im beginning to wonder if we should have traded Thornton to the Hawks 2 years ago. Not a favourite of mine.

Right, and you've been out how long?
Hey guys, you all talking about having "Jamison" in the side. He is still registered as a "Rookie" and therefore can't get a game until we have a long term injury. I hope we don't get any long term injuries regardless of how good potentially Jamison is.
He is a nominated rookie and can therefore play whether we have a LTI or not. This is because we have no vets.
