he was the dude who signed off on all of the goings on. BTW, as for hawthorn not luring anyone to their zone, i take it you have NFI how clubs operated back then do you? You found a young gun out of your zone, you moved the family to your zone. Of course this to you is impossible isnt it? Just like no team other than the blues tanked last year, correct?
Give me one example of this happening. None of the Hawk guns I mentioned were moved into their zone; neither were tucky, the abletts, russo, schwab, dipper or andy collins. As for what that has to do with tanking, about that I have NFI.

so you know that they all started out in Hawthorn's zone? All clubs did it back then. Of course they made sure you and I and everyone knew all about it too. Get real dude. As for the tanking, so tell us dude, do you really believe we didnt tank? If you do then you really have NFI. We had half a team of draftees and new players at the club last year. They were all given a slight taste of the big time, in the face of completely inept performances and results from a team that was by and large unchanged week in week out. ie we kept the right outfit in to make sure we got what we wanted -> Kruezer, Cotchin or Judd.
If you watched the games, and i mean watch the ____ing games, you would see that whenever we were in front, or in the mix, the usual suspects would be moved to where the ball was and like clockwork they would produce the same ____ ups, ie we didnt want to win. ;)

She keeps writing articles on how slack we are as a club how we have failed on and off field for so long. Her father contributed to that yet she makes no reference to that. It is "slightly hypocritical". Its not condemning her it is merely a question that she has never answered and in her position she should at least recognise it. Why is her fathers presidency in the last few years not worthy of any reference? Does she want us to suppress that and no reference perhaps suggests a reason for us to conveniently forget her fathers ills? The crap all started with him under his presiding.
As for ppl not happy to be judged by actions of their forbears I understand how they would feel but I would certainly not carry on passing the buck to someone else and neglecting to mention my forbears ills as if it never occurred nor would I be happy to convict and slaughter subsequent administrations and position of public authority to condemn them whilst conveniently forgetting the Sins of the Father. Isn't moving forward a form of forgiving of past admins accepting what has hapenned and moving on? Obviously not in Caro's case. Caro's articles are beyond a joke. Hypocritical to say the least!!!!!!!!

Her old man was president over 20 years ago, whilst our decline started under him, there have been enough board, recruiting, football department and coaching changes, not to mention years in between for the club to have become a top team again, because it has not is not her or her old mans fault.

Every time a club has changes the incoming team change the club to their way of thinking, since Ian Wilson left there have been at least 4 presidents since and each has tried to make his mark and history will show that none have been successful, as Caro wrote we are now so unsuccessful we have no past players involved with the club.

In oyther words the time is past to lay blame for our current problems at his feet, those in charge at the club have been there long enough now to have changed the cluture and fortunes on-field around but have not done so, lay the blame where it belongs

The club should have an open cheque book and really go hard at gretting N.Buckley

If Terry Wallace was to be moved on, either at the end of 2008 or 2009, it is imperative that we pursue Nathan Buckley with everything we can muster. I predict that he and Michael Voss, who appears to have already been secured bythe QLD consortium, will be the next uber-coaches of the AFL. We want him at the helm of the yellow and black.
