i thought they elavated him cos of hansen being on the long term injury list? didnt no that carrol was injured, i just thought he was dropped...

According to the West, Carroll pulled up sore after the Pie game, so they've kept him out since.

I suppose the injury list has got to a pretty sad state when we're actually keeping Trent in cotton wool, but thats how it is.

Certainly, if he was sore they'd be idiots to risk him for a preseason game. I think the same goes for Matera and Chick- no doubt they could play through the minor niggles they have, but there's no point in doing so for a game which means nothing.
