AMW as a replacement for Laurie would make me excited.

Just matured very early. Looked amazing as a junior due to being enormous compared to his opponents, but as soon as others caught up, his main strength was gone and he didn't have a whole lot of other tricks. Happens all the time.

If he's good enough, he can reinvent himself. He's young enough too.

Ah Mu is a huge player for his age, still looks very raw though. I think he's a good long term project, but it's not worth listing him on the main list if he isn't going crack into the side for another four-five years. Just keep putting the time in at Casey and he might have one of those sudden surge seasons

Mid-season draftee Joel Fitzgerald (#47) starting in the centre square along with Heath.

Fitzgerald looks pretty big (tall) for a mid.

Onley is playing back again.

Lukas Cooke in #46 is playing as a deep defender.

The last of the mid-season draftees Max Mapley is wearing #48 and appears to be playing as a tall forward with Heath rucking.

Tom Matthews seems to be spending quite a bit of time up the field around the ball.

The wind doesn't help the guys who already have iffy skills/decision making.

Xavier Taylor is in quite a bit of the play early but he's standing out for the wrong reasons. Got comfortably out-marked there (not surprising given the difference in physiques) and earlier got done for insufficient intent to keep the ball in play. Hopefully good lessons for his development.

Great forward craft from Kentfield there. The camera angle showed well that he decided to take back position against his man which encouraged Casey's Stanley to kick long. Kentfield then used his strength to just hold that back position and at the right moment separated for a relatively easy mark 20 out in front. Kicked straight for a goal.

Kentfield should've had another goal there for an arm chop after making good forward position. Advantage paid so he didn't kick the goal himself.
