Hes also got buchanon and Adcock in the wings... I think he is going to lose out mabye if hes continues this good form he may get picked before a proud polkinghorn or a reddon but is going to be in and out this is why im unsure

I think im going to keep hitchcock for now unless he gets dropped and then the decision is made harder

i'm hoping he does get dropped... will FORCE me to make a decision... :D

Gee PANIC PANIC PANIC........ don't fret people. Hitchcock won't be delisted this week, he may get dropped he may not? If he does then it's not the end of the world he could well return in 2,3 or 4 weeks and resume with his pre-season form? I would be more worried if Port had other alternatives for him but from what I see of their list they don't. He could well play 15+ games come seasons end and might give you the option of freeing up some cash just in time for the finals?

We can all kick ourselves for picking the wrong rookies for our benches but wasting trades chasing "cash cows" may well give you $$$ but if you don't have enough trades in the second half of the season then your $$$ will be of no use.

FWIW & IMO Pods, Melksham and Lucas will likely play more games than Rockliff. Brisbane just have too many similar options at present and one poor game from Rockliff could deliver him a 4 to 6 week break in the QAFL.

I still have Rohan on my forward bench but I am not going to panic, he will break into the Swanies at some stage and all things equal it will be the week after I trade him for someone else:mad:. I will be more worried if he still hasn't played come round 12 than round 4:thumbsu:.

This (IMO). Rockliff, in the eyes of many, should have played round one. Why didn't he? Doesn't that tell you about his job security right there? If he has a quiet game or two, with Adcock and Buchanan coming in, could be spending time in the QAFL.

I have used four trades already. I don't think I can afford to pick up these cows up now. Pods/Rockliff have fairly low JS, and if they're going to be sitting on my bench anyway.

Just a question. How many people started with a rookie in the forward line? And why did you start a rookie in the forward line?

My theory is that if you were too cheap to pick up a mid-pricer as your 7th forward, it may be swaying people's opinion seeing Gumby/Hitchcock spud it up.

Lesson to be learnt: Rookie F7 = bad move. It's worth forking out for a Medhurst/Ballantyne in my opinion. (unless, of course, you were smart enough to pick Peterson up.)

Starting a rookie F7 here... but yes, it is Petersen. Unfortunately I've got Franklin in there as well who needs to stop snotting people.

Started with Gumby/Hitchcock/Pods as 7,8 &9 fwds thinking id be safe for 6 weeks or so but the form of Tippett has stuffed everything. Tippett is now bench and most likely will end up as ruck bench (swap with Lobbe) later on if he keeps this form. There really wasnt much to pick from in the $100-300k range. Was banking on Wonnameiri being fit for the start of the year.
