that is an extremely big call. Although i do love Cat I couldn't say he is the most talented. He's up there though

I think Cat Stevens is really good!! Had some brilliant songs, great lyrics. Very mellow music.

in his time, there were very few singer/songwriters who could match his effortless knack of melody, melodies which have stood the test of time and many of his songs were covered by a large range of artists. i seen a recent Cat /appearance with Paul McCartney last year.
