What a sweet feeling to get back at so many mates who have taken the pi$$ out of the old boy. Half fit over an unsuitable distance and probably unsuitable track and he still reels off the 2nd best sectionals of the day! Still laughing to be honest!

Had something very small on him but threw him in the quaddie which was nice! I think its more a blight on the other horse's at that trip as he was seriously half fit and under hard riding a long way out. Billy Hernan did say that he was tenacious in the last furlong though so thats a good sign. The stable say he is as tough as they come and that they could run him every 2nd day if they chose to. Gives us a bit of hope anyway!

Send him to Robbie Laing, might make a nice jumper. I spose he'd have picked up about 30K for winning that, might cover 12 months training fees for DLF, but I'm guessing you'd be a long way down on the overall investment.
