Chad Davis??

North Adelaide have just signed Chad Davis for the coming season. Apart from having a rude head, and his swingers bitten by Peter Filandia can you tell us if he is any good.
Bear in mind we had Brett Knowles last season and he was a ball magnet Av. 38 possesions a match.
Is he as good??

I tip he will be one of the best players in the league. Was consistently a top VFL player, just didn't have it consistently enough at senior level.

agree with sav...chadley will be one of your best players. much much better than brett knowles. was a touch off AFL which was a shame because he has great skills...just caught out a touch with his lack of pace.

keep us informed of how he does.

I agree. I always rated Brett Knowles highly and thought he was a little unlucky to be delisted. I rate him a much better player than Davis.

Good luck to Chad, hopefully he can go on to have as an impressive season as Knowles apparently did.

Knowles did a runner to Ainslie in the ACT, as playing coach for $70K. Left us in the lurch for the last few games.
Heres a stat for you to ponder: Knowles played 20 games at aveage 38 touches per game and only kicked one goal (despite kicking a few points) so he averages one goal aboutevry 800 disposals.

I was surprised when we got rid of Knowles. I remember him getting 36 possessions at Waverley one day. Worth a spot on the list, I reckon. But then, so is Jason Cripps.

Chad Davis is a great player! Was getting in the BOG for most Springvale matches and kicking a few goals when he played for the saints.
Put him in a forward pocket, and he'll kick you at least 3-4 goals a game.
