Just wondering what your thoughts are on this guy.

We obviously picked him up for this season. How do you think he'll go?

Is he good enough to play forward or in the midfield?

Morrison had a good season in 2004, but is still an outside flanker that doesn't like the hard-ball.

While he wasn't good enough to get a sniff in our midfield, I'm sure he'll be one of your best.

One word for you mate: "********a" We'll see you Saturday night and we'll find out just how good our Chad is.

Jeez sit down champ.

What he said (in his own special way) is essentially true - Chad got game time last year when Ben Cousins was injured, and with Stenglein coming in, and guys like Butler coming through, he was going to get pushed out of the team simply because he's not a better player than them. This isn't just being said because he's at Collingwood now, it was the general feeling in the second half of last season. Chad played good footy, got a lot of the ball, he wasn't overly damaging but definately helped fill the gap (with others) when Cousins was out.

To answer the first question, he's best suited to float between the wings and half forward, maybe half back but only if he is the loose man in defense. Will play some good footy, isn't a bad player.

Weve had several years to work out how good he is. Dont need one game to know his best is long gone

Impressed me with his hardness on Friday night. On that performance outside flanker not liking hard ball is not accurate!

Before his knee injuries Morrison had no probs with the hard ball. After his knee injuries he was hardly soft. He's a good player. Not as good as he would have been due to the knees, but you don't lose ability over night. Having said that, I don't think West Coast will miss him due to the abundance of similar players we have.
