This is what they wrote about us-
while the blues seem to be on the way up, the facts are that they haven't made the finals since 2001, and in that time, only won 38 matches, which is 15 fewer than any other side. The upside of this is the amount of high draftpicks the Blues have aquired, including 10 draftpicks inside the top 20 in the past 4 years. Three of these were traded to West Coast for marqee midfielder Chris Judd.
The end result for Carlton is that by 2012 they look like possessing a similair profile to Judd's West Coast of 05-07 - a superstar midfield but a foward line that lacks potency. The only positions that the Blues look to have definately filled are Chris Yarran and Brendan Fevola (who will be 31 by the start of the 2012 season). The list of possible fillers for other foward spots at the club look thin at this stage.
While the foward line lacks depth, the on-ball brigade has star quality that any side would be desperate for. The balanced midfield group headed by superstars Judd, Murphy and Gibbs - ably supported by the likes of Grigg, Simpson and potentially Yarran could still yet deliver the Blues success much like the Eagles in 2006. The ruckstocks look strong with Kreuzer leading the way and his support to come from eihter Warnock or Hampson.
The back half has been a worry for the Blues in recent seasons, but if they can find a small defender and another HBF they should have a settled back six.
IMO this shows the lack of respect for sum of our players like scotland, carrazzo, thornton, houlihan and especially betts
