Honestly the Lions played so badly it is hard to tell how good Melbourne are.

I can see Bowey out for Salem though and that is all, with Bowey then being the emergency.
- Unless McDonald rises from the dead.

I’d be annoyed if Bowey gets dropped for Salem after our backline looked so good and Bowey played his role. Last thing we need is the return of the May-Salem stat padding ball movement.

Salem sub and no other change.
It's really competitive with selection, getting back into the team after being injured is tough. Harmes wasn't an automatic selection after missing with injury. Backline looked really solid on the weekend and fought tooth and nail. Bowey had a pretty solid game too, would be unlucky to get dropped.

Im not really worried about Richmond either given that we destroyed them the last two times we've played them
I agree, but it’s not the 99% assured free hit that Brisbane at the MCG is. Happy to play either if it comes to it (QF loss), tigers would be epic

I don't mind bringing someone in who is underdone even in a final. Rich brought in a debutant in a grand final so it can be done. Will it be done? Unlikely

As a club member (home season tickets + grand final guarantee) how many tickets am I able to buy?

I'd like to buy 4 total, but worried if I run the risk and wait for the public sale window I'll miss out?

Richmond are a smokey, we played them earlier in the year when they were playing shit. 90k at the mcg with a pro Richmond crowd is dangerous. If it's tight I could imagine the umpires shitting the bed in front of the ferals and giving them soft frees.

Would love for the Lions to win, basically guarantees us a prelim hey
I don't really follow this logic. Having to win twice to reach a prelim is always worse than being able to advance directly with one win. I think the double chance was essential for us. Given how we've played this year in terms of consistency, we aren't going to win 4 straight games against top 8 opponents - but 3 wins, I like those odds.

He's saying that even if we lose to Sydney we would be guaranteed a prelim if we played Brisbane in the semi.

I don't reckon Pickett was coming back from a long-term injury and very little preparation.
