82k is the current estimate from the MCC/AFL. And that is massive.

People get a bit carried away with numbers. In our entire history, we have had 13 H&A matches in front of crowds of 90k+, 10 of which have been ANZAC Day clashes. And none of the other three involved Carlton.

He's underrated but it's his passion and courage which makes him a good player. He has great hands and is very strong through his core.

Unfortunately I have to agree. He is Carlton through and through and he never stops trying. He marks tall for his height and even rucks well against bigger oponents. He's the one Carlton player that I actually like. (wash my mouth out with soap)

I know its off topic but as far as i know this is the current injury situation at the Pies:

Harrison 2026 if he is still at the Pies that is
Reef 2026
Ash Johnson end of June return around those bye rounds so 9-10 weeks
Mitchell 3 weeks eyeing at this stage if all goes well possible return on Anzac day
Not to sure if anyone else.
Maybe a couple in the vfl on mod programs
Pretty light on. 2 next year return and a medium term and one short term.

imo crazy to make Membrey sub. He plays one role and he is the one you sub off not on. sub has to have some versatility.

Agree. But age profile to be a sub, later into a game with a tiring defence, his run and ability to find holes could be important. Billy can provide some ‘tall versatility’ so Members can simply play high half forward back to goal. That’s a versatile position to have
I’d have all the runners and manic pressure men on to start so Members as a sub remains an option I reckon. If the sub is from the bench players then he’s my pick.

MM: I’ve been watching the selfless work Tim Membrey does with Mihocek and McStay. They’ve hardly played together, so they look to have a huge upside?

CM: He gets the game. He gets what’s needed. As a coach, (how good is it) to have players who go ‘whatever you need mate, I’ll start on the bench’. He is selfless, he is a great family man, always smiling. It’s a long year but the chemistry will grow.

even so - close to half the capacity is AFL members and MCC Members combined, which are neutral seating regardless of whose home game it is - plenty of Carlton people would have planned to go in those sections (especially as AFL members had to book several weeks ago before they know how rubbish they would be lol), and they'll likely prefer to stay home now I would think!

But definitely our home game and the club members going, will fill it more than if it had been Carlton's home game. Without a doubt.

As far as i know he been in full training this week.

We could use him tonight.

Like Sidebottom WHE is type of player thats a real jack of all trades.

Very flexible in positions.

Another player that nearing a return is Oleg Marcov.

More like its next week tho.

Does anyone know Sidys position like him up forward for mine kind of a classic foward crumber. As with WHE wings i think his home but handy up forward as well.

Yes, WHE is available. Like he was 2 weeks ago. Just overlooked because there is currently no spot for him.
Markov is available too. He'll play VFL. Again, no spot for him.
