Genuinely looking forward to this one (lol). We know we're going poorly this year, but this one should really give us a gauge as to where we are at, and perhaps give us momentum going into the Big Freeze where we are likely to get an almighty whopping.
The Crows have had a couple of really good results this year; beating the slow-starting Cats in Round 1 by 12 points and beating the then-undefeated Melbourne by 1 point just recently in Round 10. Outside of this, the Crows have put up some lacklustre results including a 3-point loss to the Hawks in Round 6.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
Round 11, 2021: Adelaide 5.8 (38) def. by Collingwood 10.2 (62) at the Adelaide Oval in front of a crowd of 8,577.
KEY MATCH UPS:
Roughead must take Taylor Walker given the form he has shown early this season.
Outside of this I would look to play Moore on Thilthorpe and look to exploit him on the rebound.
Maynard should be able to get the job done on Fogarty if given the challenge.
Luckily we don't need to worry about Stengle this time... after he kicked 2 of their 5 goals in our encounter last year and looked dangerous every time he went near it (just draft him).
CHANGES:
Hard to know with a few 50-50s on the injury front.
IN: Adams? Mccreery? Elliott, Cox (or Lynch?)
OUT: Cal Brown, Madgen, Wilson, Grundy (inj)
Also: Stengle in! Just draft him and play him!
