I didn’t say Jack shit about centre clearances … maybe take some of your own advice

You talked about "the Roos running off him in the middle". I gave literally every single feasible interpretation - scores from centre clearance, clearance in general, the ruck running out the back (English does this to Darcy a lot).

If we're not conceding from clearance and Xerri isn't doing anything around the ground (literally 0 disposals in the 4th), idk how you can possibly blame Darcy.
I was sitting there on LVL 5 behind Norths goal watching it , every time we got turned around their inability to get on their bike back towards the D50 stood out like dogs balls

Said the sample thing 30 mins after the game in the autopsy thread I believe , but yeah you go statsman

Trust your numbers

You’re basically saying in this post that you have no evidence to back up your opinion other than your opinion.

Stats aren’t the only evidence btw, vision can work etc.

“Holy crap , I’ve seen plenty of hive mind cognitive bias drenched bullshit on this board before but this sudden ‘ Darcy’s match winning ‘ game against the Roos takes the chocolates”

You can’t just say this and not back it up in any way

Brilliant. I was too.

Notice you switched to "their inability". That's precisely right. Their. Meaning a team effort (or lack of). Whereas in the post I first replied to, you specifically said running off Darcy in the middle.

If Darcy's main ain't killing us in transition, I'm not blaming Darcy for us being killed in transition. Pretty simple stuff I would've thought.

If you sit up there then you know you miss some of the finer details but get a perfect view of the shape of the game

I don’t think Darcy or Fyfe should be in the team so I was watching closely

I’m no tactical genius but I’ve watched a lot of games up there

Our shape deteriorated when Darcy took over from Jackson and when Fyfe came on it almost got to the point of costing us the game IMO

No great surprise I guess but Pies were like poetry , so fluid from defence to attack and the best we’ve looked is against Port

FIGJAM recalled for St Kilda I see.
Classic RTB move .

Surely Liam “fashion” henry fires up against his old side would be his line of thinking.
Coz going by what I’ve seen his numbers in the ressies he definitely doesn’t deserve a recall.

No matter what is a massive win for us

Good running side St Kilda have. It's one of those tough ones tactically where we don't want to be too big around the ground but that it also might be an advantage..

We had some issues last time with both Jackson and Darcy needing to be on managed minutes to get through the game, and then losing Young during the game compounded that problem.

Garcia was one of their main mid match ups last time after getting a reprieve from being subbed off tactically before half-time the previous week, he's very quick I noticed watching their VFL game last week - between him and Windhager they did some of the tagging last time (Ross reckons he didn't tag). Steele and MacRae were the big bodies inside.

They've got a few players we need to stop - Wanganeen-Milera, Owens, Higgins, Sinclair.

I think Darcy, JOM and Dudley or OMac will be announced on the extended bench today.

JOM and Dudley/OMac to be named as emergencies tomorrow.

My tip for the final 23 will be:
In: Darcy
Out: Aish
Sub: Erasmus or Fyfe

I'm set that they are conscious of getting Fyfe to his 250 milestone and at the very least will have him sub for the next few games. O'Mac to go straight into the backline. Would love to see Dudley straight in but unlikely I suppose.

Owens? We aren't going to put any extra work into him.
