Looking really good, but Blues looking like they just don't care.

Gillbee is looking very good as a small forward. He's making amazing position, but the foot skills by the deliverer ensures that his lead isn't always hit.

If nothing else, I'm proud that the boys have played so well until half time.

You could tell that our NEAFL midfield unfortunately were already starting to tire. Really hope they hang in there as best they can.

If anyone says that we're not improving, they've got rocks in their head. The quick ball movement through the middle is something that we've been trying to get down for a while. Obviously a long way off perfection, but the game plan is starting to show through.

Unfortunately, our game style requires some serious fitness. I honestly think the midfield is going to crash midway through the third, and we'll limp home. But if we had the likes of Swallow, Prestia, Rischitelli etc. all playing and in there, who knows what would happen?

I've seen enough in that one half to show me that we've taken some serious steps forward. We will fade in the second half, but it doesn't matter. We're missing 13 of our 22! They're only missing a few and are in ripping form. Good stuff.
