Whilst have been impressed with Colyer & Melksham they are simply too small at the moment especially against experienced hardened bodies like Collingwood. I don't see a match up for Welsh (inside ball winner who is damaging), Houli hasn't really impressed and Reimers is self explanatory.

It is difficult to make predictions before the Bendigo game has been played, but after watching the Pies last night we will need pace from defence if we are going to get it out. Atkinson played well last week & he could be a chance. By this reasoning I don't think Dempsey will be dropped either (he had a good Carlton game).

I definitely think that Lonergan & Hocking will be in the gun this week. Perhaps one of the two kids may go out as well. Zaharakis was initially making way for Hurley last week but they couldn't drop him for this one! Welsh was insipid but should match up well on Pendles. Could be a few changes with any of (McVeigh, Stanton, Monfries, Prismall, Davey, Atkinson & Howlett) coming in..

No wonder Williams had a bad game as there was absolutely no delivery into the forward line. People need to think of him as a small forward and not a key forward (as in Hurley and Gumby). Kelvin your suggestion to drop Dyson is insane. He has probably been our most consistent performer this year.

I disagree with those calling for Hocking to be dropped. He has been solid in all games. Along with Dyson he has been one of our better performers over all four games.

Hocking was unable to sprint 10 minutes into the 2nd quarter. It cost us a goal. Unacceptable.

Add McVeigh in for Colyer to my list. I like Trav, but his kicking needs work.

Hocking is incapable of sprinting at anytime. I still think he is one of the better players at running both ways and is so strong when the ball is contested on the ground. Would be one of the first players that I would be picking, but everyone has a different view.*
