I think we got lucky in the sense that we dominated. If that comes down to a kick late on then the Smith and Bowey/Rivers poor games could really bite.

I don't trust them not to cost goals in a prelim again ( Rivers not so much he redeemed himself)

If TMac is injured then yes, out for Melksham. But I think the two week break will do him good. I just don’t think they’ll drop him. We play three talls and stretch opposition defence. That’ll work against Geelong who miss Stewart. We have enough pace around the footy to be dangerous when the ball hits the floor.

Hibberd is a bit more composed than Smith, obviously. But Smith was good on Rohan last time. Bowey for Hunt could be the go.

Probably the most likely option. It’s just whether we want to sacrifice the Smith speed element but I think Hibberd is probably the best choice for his composure and ball use.

But, there is an element of looking at our side on paper and freaking out. Who would have thought we'd be going into a prelim with Petty, Smith, Bowey and Rivers in our back 6? Hibberd and Hunt in will add less freak out factor when looking at the team. I think our team is so well drilled defensively that we have the luxury of dropping anyone in the back half and they know what to do. Reminds me of Clarko's side when they were winning flags. Injuries didn't matter. Blokes coming in knew their role. That's why Bowey and Smith and Petty can fit in rather seamlessly.

2017, 19 & 20 has changed my mindset on football and I hope all fans that haven’t tasted success in their lifetime deserve that epic high when their team finally wins a premiership. It’s something that supporters of cellar dwellers never think would imagine could happen.
I genuinely hope the best for you guys and wish you get to bask in the glory of a premiership. It makes all the suffering worth every minute

We’re in the final 4. Lots of matchups aren’t going to look great on paper and could go either way depending who performs on the day. If you’re going to look at Hunt’s name on the team sheet matched up on a Fantasia/Bailey and feel calm about that … I find that weird.
In the prelim against either Cats or Giants, there’s match ups I’d feel comfortable with any of our small backs on…Luke Dahlhaus for example.

Cheers mate. It will be sensational if we do win it but tempered by a bit of sadness at it not being on the G in front of the faithful. Perhaps we can be a bit greedy and grab a second in the near future, back on the hallowed turf.
