AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Defensive matchups for the Prelim/GF (if we get there) will be fascinating.
Goody has been really conservative (in a good way) this year by just playing those who are in form.
Previous year's favourites (Melk, Hibb, Jones) have been dropped for less experienced players who are in form. Obviously no VFL is hard to establish form when out of the side, but because we have had barely any injuries, we haven't needed to rotate players at all.
I think Goody will back in the players that have gotten us this far.
Especially off that kind of win. That could have been a ten goal belting if we had kicked a couple of those sitters.I think this is what he will do as well. Goody has been conservative with his changes ever since he started, very rarely has he dropped any big names or made wholesale changes.

So if we win the prelim, we would have played 2 matches in 4 weeks. Wowee..Bye following the prelim now.

My impression was that Smith prevented probably two more goals being kicked by Cameron. Granted, Cameron kicked 5 but not all on Smith. Not sure why people want Bowey out, got caught holding it once but besides that adjusted to the intensity pretty well and did some good (and smart!) things. Will only be better for the experience.
I mentioned in last week changes thread that I thought Smith’s lack of footy brain would be exposed by Cameron and it unfortunately eventuated - yes he can jump high and looks athletic but every decision counts in finals, we can’t be carrying players with no idea.
Who do you think every other team will now try to isolate for the rest of the finals?
Yeah I felt better about him watching the replay. He did find some good spots, just didn’t mark well. If his goal had gone through I probably wouldn’t have been as negative about his game. Hopefully with a few more weeks to limber up he can get more of it.No change!
Having watched it again I don’t think TMac had that bad of a game to be honest. Not his best game no doubt and he obviously didn’t hit the score board but I feel he competed, tackled hard and brought the ball to ground.
Will hopefully be all the more better for the run and now having a week off.

Can’t even do that. McGowan requires a specific exemption such as essential work to do 2 weeks quarantine. So there’s zero chance.Sucks how Victorians have to quarantine for two weeks to attend the Granny.
Makes it virtually impossible to realistically organise a trip

Yep. Especially if it’s the drought breaker…That's really shitty

Yeah was thinking about this last night, not sure how large our WA fanbase is, but if we make the grand final, we’ll have bugger all support, just won’t be the same. Can’t even do that. McGowan requires a specific exemption such as essential work to do 2 weeks quarantine. So there’s zero chance.
I suspect our SA and QLD crews might try to get there. I’ve already heard of a few people arranging “essential work” too.Yeah was thinking about this last night, not sure how large our WA fanbase is, but if we make the grand final, we’ll have bugger all support, just won’t be the same.
All said would be absolutely over the moon if we did win though.
