That means he's in. Nothing much can stop Fletcher from lining up;he's too tough.

Geez, if Sheed's says he is 70% chance of playing, then we've gotta be worried. He had WInders in the team last week when he was no chance of playing. If all our "probables" (Lloyd, Hille, Fletcher, Hird) are out with a sudden bout of "flu", then our chances have dropped dramatically.

Good news about fletcher
Hird and Fletcher set for Anzac Day

Tuesday, 24 April 2007
Essendon veterans James Hird and Dustin Fletcher are certain starters for tomorrow’s Anzac Day clash with Collingwood at the MCG. And the news gets even better with Leroy Jetta also a chance to play with his groin injury nowhere near as bad as first feared.
The Bombers’ fitness and medical teams have been working overtime to get the Essendon players back to full fitness following the weekend’s game against St Kilda.
The players have recovered well thanks to a thorough recovery plan that included time spent in the hyperbaric chamber, time on the beach and a player-specific dietary and supplement program.
Essendon will wait as long as possible to make a decision on ruckman David Hille who is suffering from a bruised chest and hamstring soreness.
Kepler Bradley and Mark Bolton didn’t play in the Bendigo Bombers team on Sunday and are on standby should they be required along with Nathan Lovett-Murray who has recovered from a groin injury.

Looks like NLM will play and only one of bradley and bolton will.

When it comes to Essendon and injuries, believe nothing

Fletch has played a finals series with a fracture in his leg, he won't miss because of a broken rib.

He has an amazing pain tolerance, with ten days off after tomorrow, he'll play.

How did houli and jetta go?

Didnt see them , i do part of my rehab at Windy Hill on tuesday mornings which includes walking about 10 laps of the oval. I said hi to Fletch as he was heading into the rooms to do his rehab i presume. I think most of the guys had a lunch function and beach today.

I can understand bringing Kep in due to Hille being out, but Bolton was a big mistake. Surely another running midfielder wouldve been paramount after such a short break.

No, both big mistakes - NLM and JJ would've made a huge difference today

We needed another tall, especially given that Laycock cant play 4 quarters, he's not exactly a star in the making, let alone a decent ruckman...so we needed the insurance. Obviously, it backfired due to running out of legs after the 1st qtr.
