Cant understand the suggestions for Brown being dropped. He is going to be a gun a shows plenty of upside and . Also thought Murray wasn't that bad today. Devastated for Shaz. His awareness, calmness and disposal is 1st class and improving every game. Langdon is great overhead but will never develop the natural skills Shaz shows.

I'm no fan of Murray's form, I'd like to see some improvement from him at VFL, but I don't think that a lack of heart is one of his problems. He put his body on the line today, plenty of times.

If Howe doesn't come up, there just isn't a suitable placement for our backline losses. Neither Magden nor McLarty inspire any confidence, and only returning players in Elliott and Aish can add any strength to a very weakened team. We are now carrying passengers in Murray, Varcoe, Brown, Daicos and Mayne. The last thing we need is yet another player not quite making an impact at VFL level being promoted to the seniors. We probably anticipated a reasonably easy win against Sydney, but not anymore.
