Brent Prismall is a chance to make his senior debut for Essendon this week after being named in the Bombers’ squad of 25 ahead of their clash with Adelaide on Sunday.

The Bombers could make up to six changes to the side which was convincingly beaten by Geelong last week. Scott Lucas, Kyle Reimers, Courtenay Dempsey, Tyson Slattery and Darcy Daniher have also been named on the extended bench.
Henry Slattery (hamstring), Jason Winderlich (back) and Tom Bellchambers (knee) will all miss through injury.

Obviously only listing Prizza as new means that Tyson Slats is only going to be an emergency.

Bench will be: Zaha, Houli, Jetta, Skipworth

however it should be without skipworth and put Scotty back in.

Hmm who do you reckon will make the bench? I presume Ryder and Hooker will do a straight swap? in ruck duties? So excited Riemers has been named. Winder is a big loss though

Slattery, Daniher and Who? EMG

Prismall, Dempsey & Reimers are all named on the ground in that initial squad, which indicates going by past announed teams, they will play.

Lucas, Tyson Slattery & Daniher to be the Emergencies.

Winderlich is a massive loss but three fairly good inclusions to cover that.

4 Bench spots.

David Zaharakis, Bachar Houli, Leroy Jetta, Hayden Skipworth, Tyson Slattery, Darcy Daniher, Scott Lucas

T. Slattery/Daniher - 1 of

Jetta/Zaharakis/Lucas/Skipworth - 2 of

Houli - Wouldn't be dropped on form imo.

IMO Jetta will be dropped for Daniher, we need to get another Key defender, as Hooker will be the back-up ruck

agreed. need another tall to help out down back when the crows play one of their ruckmen down there.
great to see reimers and prismall in obviously, very excited. hope we haven't rushed reimers in too quickly though.
winderlich definitely a big loss, hopefully nothing too serious and he's back soon.

Is reimers even ready to play, i thought he would have to play a few week at bendigo to get his fitness up after the pre season he had.

Congratulations Prizz.

I'm guessing Zaha, Houli, Daniher and Skip will be the extended bench.

I like McVeigh in the back pocket...gives us a cool head back there.

It's a massive call. 4 blokes into the side in the last 2 weeks coming off limited preparation.

But who gives a **** it's REIMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

It's time to give Scotty another run. He has given this club an extraordinary amount over the years, I don't like seeing him as some poor forgotten man in the hopeless Bendigo side, he's a club champion and deserves a chance to prove whether he has found his form. If he could get back to the Lucas of 2 years ago it would be an awesome help for our finals chances

Big Goodluck this week guys , I hope Pris kicks ass . Think he will be awesome for you. nobody deserves things to go there way like he does.

WOW!
Great to see Reimers and Prismall back and named on the ground! That's encouraging news.

As said by a few, I too would like to bring in a taller KP player as well.

Those would be my three choices. Dempsey is a must, no arguments there. Lucas is needed to straighten up that forward line and help keep lloyd and neagle operating deeper in the forward line while reimers is the missing ingredient on the half forward flank.

sorry prizza ... maybe next round. Would've selected daniher > mcphee.

ps: saw welshy today.... damn he looks thin ... i actually thought i could break him in half. he gave me one of those looks as if to say "do i know you?" ... nah mate, but i know who you ****in are hahaha

It is a worry. Prismalls had a few games at Bendigo so he should be pretty right but surely Reimers is underdone. He's a gun and with a fit side I'd be all for it but Mcveigh and Skipworth also appearing to be undone it is a huge risk.

These are the changes I would make if i were making the final call:

1. Dempsey - massive in !
2. Danhier - Belly out, Hooker & Ryder to ruck. Replaces backline Hooker. Can also play forward / wing to help mix it up if Knights is feeling sinister like I am...
3. Lucas - gained match fitness & touch at Bendigo. Hopefully with Lloyd, Neagle and Lucas in we have a functioning forward line...& be a handful for the Crows. Lets hope they practiced this senario.
4. Prizza - out Skippy (Prizza is heavier/taller/more skillful than Skippy & can play similar role)
5.Reimers - Out Monfries ( makes sense with Lucas in, he is faster and offers something
unpredictable. He is also completely nuts - which I love. Helps to address pace/skill loss of Windas) Sorry Gus - but you need a rest.

Alternatively Zaha could go out for Reimers, depending on final training session.

Houli can play a similar role to Slatts.
