Does anyone know if the teams are getting named today or tommorow?

They will have 25 named on the footy show because the 22 doesn't need to be named until 2 days beforehand. It's ridiculous to even show the sunday game teams but they will.

daics_35 Simon Buckley has been playing forward and outside mid in the 2's. So you could drop Lockyer for Buckley. And, if Dicky injured then you could bring in Medders.

Lockyer does not offer much these days, and he was none too sure with his ball handling last week while Medhurst had a good game in the VFL.

Fraser in for Leigh Brown and Anthony for Dick if he is rested, with Anthony to play in defence. We are up against 2 good ruckmen and Fraser had an excellent game in the VFL. However, he cannot have been up against much in the rucks (the Hawks), so maybe Fraser will miss out.

Why would you want that overwashed hack back in the side?

Leigh Brown offers so much more. A contest? Run around the park? Spirit? Fraser does nothing. He can't even do the basics right. Manning up? He's lazy as all get out. Leigh Brown might not be the best player going around but his output shuns peaheart Fraser constantly.

Fraser should spend the rest of season in the VFL - alot like John Anthony. They should prove they want to play AFL football there because that is the standard they provide - VFL standard. Both of them are lazy, weak hearted and should never replace guys like Leigh Brown or Chris Dawes in the side.

That, to me, is like bringing in John McCarthy or Ryan Cook for Dane Swan. Honestly.

Out: Dick
In: Medhurst

I'd have said Leon but after seeing Brad's shoulder struggling this week, I'd say to leave Brad out for the season and get it attended too,because we really don't need Brad getting hurt any more than he is. Brad is a huge part of the side and provides lovely flare inside fifty. We look better with him fit; so we should do what we need to do to make sure he is fit. If Brad does come up then Leon or Tarkyn out for Medhurst. I think Medhurst provides something aswell. If he doesn't perform, he at least takes a good player, but his best form could be pivotal to us later in the season. I think playing Tarkyn is pointless now. He doesn't have a position anymore. I love him but he should come in only when we have a severe amount of injuries.

I wouldn't mind seeing him go out for MaCaffer even.

i dont know. i think dick is a very important player for us this year. our forward line would be one of the most dangerous if all firing.

f: medhurst, dawes, dick
hf: didak, cloke, davis.

thats got 3 aa's in it. cloke who would be one of the best chf in the league. and dawes and dick, two young very promising players. combine that with thomas, beams, sidebum, jolly rotating through and the occasional fraser, l brown and lockyer. thats not too bad at all. just cant understand how its been our forward line thats been struggling. our backs are solid, our midfield has two players on the cusp on elite (swan i think is up there with ablett and judd, pendles will get there) we got an exciting extracter in ball who would die for CFC. jolly a premiere ruckman. we got young talent coming through. all we need is that forward line to fire (mainly the two big men) and i honestly think we would be unbeatable. *sigh* just hope by september were all working together

Davis must play over in WA always plays well there might kick him into some form.

First thing I've seen as a legit reason to leave him in the side... but i'd still rather drop him now and give him a real hunger to perform.

I'd rather Jack... and pinch hit one of our backs across half forward (Heater or Harry) with Jack down back... and a small cameo at FF.

Medders would want to kick a handfull before he is even considered for seniors... he's been way off, for way to long.
