He’ll piss 95 kegs in if he wants to. Too much muscle mass will hurt his mobility so he’ll need to find that sweet spot though. Might take him a few years to find his perfect playing weight. I listened to Ben Cousins on Titchs pod say he put on only 2-3kg of muscle one preseason and was absolutely cooked the first game and it took him a month to strip back and regain his running power. Agreed. We know that our system takes time to adjust. He’s very inexperienced also.

I think we need to adapt our system, especially offensively. Can't keep making it such that it takes new recruits atleast a year to fit in.

Despite not travelling how many would like, Allan won the pies best young player last year and is slowly building. Last year he was dropped for round 1 but to bad from. ?????
He doubled that this year. Round 2 selections don’t mean much.

Mate if you were looking objectively at this you’d look at the strength of the senior squad and go “yeah there’s just nowhere to put him rn”.

He was exceptionally good in the back half of 2023, no idea why you’re trying to talk him down because “stats”.

You're right. Stats aren't hugely relevant, but I used them as hyperbole such as yours with "exceptionally good" has grown up around that block of games from Dan.

He was solid. I was really happy with him as I assumed that would be the norm, but he's now had about 5 blocks of games for us. One of them solid, the other 4 not so much.
