This may be a stupid question, but should we actually imploy any changes for next weeks game? Sure White, Huges, Krakouer and Howatt had all pretty ordinary games, but because we had such a strong emotional win, maybe it would be better to keep the team as is, barring injury?

Think Krak has an injury ?

Depends on coburg tomorrow

IN - Simmo Riewoldt
Out - Hughes Krak

I'd like to see Polo play a blinder tomorrow for Coburg and come straight back in for White or Howatt. If Krak is injure who ever is our best tomorrow should replace him, Huges should also make way for Simmo who can play both foward and ruck with Patto

Polo is out for the season and is having the shoulder op. Its in one of the articles on the AFL site.

Krak's ankle looked bad enough meaning a few weeks. Not sure how much time Hughes had out there so would be tough to drop him but did look lost the few times he had the ball. White also maybe had not much game time or couldn't find it.

Can't really say INs until we see who steps up for Coburg. I know there should be a couple of motivated forwards though!

G-Train has a broken hand doesnt he, be interesting who gets the job on Riewoldt. What a job Thursty did on Robbo...like to see him stay way down back though and see Bowden and Polak double team Riewoldt in the 50 and let him chase kicks up on the wings next week.

Simmo hopefully is right, so Schulz or Jack if they step up. Would have liked to have seen Hughes given more FF time last night though, so another week for mind.

Hughes played second ruck and also spent some time down back while Polak took centre bounces. Would be tough to drop the kid after playing in a winning side. Perhaps White out (depending on Krakouers ankle) for Simmo and leave Hughes to play the lead up CHF as the Saints are still struggling down back with talls. Howat could also be one to miss.

For mine Outs: White Howat Krakouer INs: Hartigan Meyer Simmo

Give Hartigan a chance to claim a spot for next year, give Meyer another shot with Brown back he may just find it a little easier to find the ball and show us something and Simmo because as much as Patto has been trying and improving it would be great to give the kid a decent chop out in the ruck.

All I really know is that next week we should expect some of the flooding that happened in the Hawks/Saints game to occur again. I don't think Lyon is going to let us have an open forward line where Richo and Brown can have space to operate like they did last night.

Hughes, White and Howat didn't really get big game time last night, think all 3 could be possible outs. Simmons comes straight in and Krak out with an ankle are certain changes, can't be sure until Burgers play today.

No Meyer. If he contributed like he did against Essendon than we dont need him :)

I just think that with Brown back we could play Meyer and give him a chance without having to place a lot of pressure on him to fill Browns role. Get him in the side for say 3 weeks and give hm a bit of footy so he can settle and find the level he needs to play at to succeed at AFL level.

the only change would be simmo in. riewoldt and edwards need more time with coburg, they are like uncooked meat. refining their skills is needed.

yeah i would say in

edwards and reiwoldt and graham who was in best today and could get promoted with polo out for season as i think it is last week to promote someone following week
out- howat and krak and hughes

Danny's biggest problem is he is so low on confidence. Needs to be put into a position like HB where he can find the ball without thinking.

Graham won't come in. Theres no point in playing 3 ruckman + Polak

My changes are
IN:
Simmonds: Pick him if hes right
Edwards: Too good for VFL
Riewoldt: Deserves another go. Should only be included if Huges is dropped

Out:
Krakouer: Injured
Howat/White: Both were shite last night
Huges: Hasn't done much in two games but hasn't had much game time. I don't mind either way if he is or isn't dropped for Riewoldt

For mine Outs: White Howat Krakouer INs: Hartigan Meyer Simmo
What's Meyer done to deserve a promotion?
He had a handful of possessions in the Coburg seniors today. He'll be lucky to keep his place in their side.
I do think Harts deserves a chance to stake his claim however they are unlikely to make too many changes to the side.

I: Simmonds Edwards Hartigan
O: Hughes Howat Krakouer

Howatt and White didn't do much. Not necessarily their fault, but could be in the gun to get omitted. Krakoeur might miss if he's hurt.

Wouldn't mind seeing Connors get a game. Maybe Edwards back in if he is up to it.

Hughes might get swapped for Riewoldt. It all depends on match ups and I haven't seen enough of St Kilda lately to make up my mind.

Edwards should be promoted and stay there. He has talent to burn.

Bring in Simmo, so we can dominate the ruck for once.

Give Hughes the ass i reckon, he needs a break. And Krak of course is injured.

Would be interesting to see Jack line up on Nick seeing as though they have played him at CHB the last 2 weeks. ;)

Yep agree with that. Drop Howat for Edwards.

Simmonds should come in for Hughes if Simmonds is fit.

Meyer should be dropped to the Coburg reserves.

I think Hartigan for Krakouer. Hartigan has played a lot up forward for the Burgers and is in last-chance territory. At least at his best he can chase, tackle and harrass.

Edwards should be in. He is quality and even if he can only get 10 touches in senior company there is very chance that 8-9 of them will be good.

We should rookie-list Joe Gazzo. If he was Aboriginal he would have been drafted.

why would you drop hughes for simmo

we have been playing small so it should be the extra runner like howat who has done nothing that should go before dropping hughes

edwards is in front of hartigan although they might just give moore and hartigan the last 10 games to show something or else they can piss off
