In : Thurley Haynes Mackie
Out : McCarthy Gardiner Rooke

I know all you guys will carry on about Rooke but he has been very ordinary for about a month now. I also know the team has been as well but I think he just looks good when the team is winning. You have to look at the last couple of games and we have been without Wocjinski Enright D Johnson Harley and Rooke still can't get a run in the backline.

I would go with a small forward line of mobile targets like kingsley haynes mackie thurley chapman ablett riccardi etc. Gardiner is as good as two men short so I don't think he is any loss. Last week Chambers looked ok forward so if we need a big target he and King can rotate out of the goal square.

Yeh would agree with Gardiner, hasnt done much for me lately

Rooke on the other hand, I dunno, I thought he was progressing ok?

And well poor McCarthy

Too many changes IMO! The team got back to some type of form last week, why go and change the whole dynamics of the side??

While the knives are out for Gardiner, I thought he was OK last weekend, definitely nothing outstanding, but showed signs of coming good.

Bomba has already said Haynes will come in for McCarthy, so that is one change, and unless King is a late withdrawal then I cant see reason for any other changes.

I think people are looking at Thurley from the wrong angle, I am one of his biggest fans, but apart from his 7 goals he didnt do anything to warrant being in the side. I see Gardiner as a better option as he is more mobile and can move better.

Rooke has got to stay in. He will play a vital role on one of the Sydney forwards, an O'Loughlin maybe. Mackie didnt make it through the VFL last week so he definitely wont be coming back, and also why replace a defender with a forward??

I'd take someone who actually kicks goals as opposed to someone who just moves around the ground doing squat all - mobile or not.

I wouldn't even contemplate dropping Rooke. His work ethic, hardness and pressure are invaluable.

I too would prefer Thurley to Gardiner. I'm not a fan of Thurley for numerous reasons, but his creativity and ability to kick goals would be quite valuable at the SCG.

Haynes for McCarthy will probably the only change.
"41 shots" will never be dropped,so there's no use listing him.Liz does deserve "41 shots" position.
Mackie won't play. He's injured and probably won't play in the VFL.
No frigging way should Rooke be dropped.

Rooke starts every year in the 1's and by the end he is just another 2's player. A battler who gives all but falls short in ability.

Rooke hasn't been bad. He's never going to be a star but he puts in and does a job consistently every week. We need players like him.
