I assume you mean "too fit for any of our rucks"? Jacobs is the strongest and biggest bodied of our ruckman. .. Its the reason he is the better tap ruck and better at pack marking. .. His fitness isn't too bad either, although I think he looks tired at the moment and needs some help. .. Hopefully he has a good run on the track this week and stays in the side. .. He played well last time, except Cox schooled him in the throw ins and NicNat mauled him unfairly and got away with it. .. but he shows he learns well and finished that game well. ..

No, I mean too strong which is why I said it. Jacobs is bigger than Kruezer. Kruezer is stronger than Jacobs and much better at throwing his weight around. If you'd watched a game recently it's quite clear. It's a given that Cox is fitter than Jacobs which is why I didn't bother saying it. Jacobs' fitness isn't bad, it's just not as good as the opposition in this case.

Jacobs will get flogged, bank on it. He is such a good tap ruckman because he reads the ball well. It has nothing to do with his size or strength. It comes down to how you read the ball and your positional sense. Cox is far better in both areas as well as more athletic and after Cox runs Jacobs into the ground, PT will just jump all over him.

out: Robinson, Jacobs, Lucas

in: Johnson, Ellard, Warnock.

Not sure if joking:o
Carrazzo couldnt hit the side of a barn. I also wonder what his tackle count & blocking have been this year

60 tackles (5th), 188 kicks (7th), 104 contested possesions (7th), 41 clangers (3rd in team), DE of 73.18% (19th) 13 1%ers (24th)

Was admittedly surprised to see our top 5 for DE are Bower, Jacobs, Thornton, Anderson and Joseph in that order.

And that ladies and gentlemen is proof that DE% is a useless stat! :D:p

Bower and T-Bird, yeah ok they're usually pretty trustworthy with their disposal.

Ando, Sauce and AJ.... They'd be among my last few picked if I had someone kicking for my life ;)

I wouldn't say "useless" but like most stats is very overrated. As the cliche goes, statistics can prove anything.

Carrots should be taught to play on every time he takes a mark. .. I really think its his slowness in decision making that makes his average kick look like trash. .. Quite often he will mark and take too long to give it off then be forced to pinpoint a pass (Obviously not his strength) or kick down the line to a pack. ..

As for that top 5, without looking at the stats 4 out of 5 of those players handball more often than kick. .. Its usually (not always) better to look at kicking efficiency, mind you half the time some of our guys don't hit the chest with a handball. ..
