There was nothing in any of them, the report was a joke they even said so on the tv there was nothing in it at all. I noticed a few occasions during the game that hawthorn players dived.

Who was that commentator who was hell bias, he kept saying "Go Hawks" and a whole lot of other junk. I couldn't stand him!.

I watched the replay today and I think what you're referring to is when he yelled "Goal to the Hawks!"
It sounded like "Go Hawks!" with all the background noise.

It's fairly natural for commentators to get swept up in the excitement of the crowd, especially a noisy partisan crowd.

For years when he commentated Adelaide games, Sandy Roberts used to shit me to tears. A Crows player would kick a regulation goal, 40,000 fans went crazy and Sandy would be yelling his head off. Then one of our players would kick an amazing goal, 40,000 Adelaide fans would go silent and Sandy would commentate in a very bored voice, "And he's kicked a goal..."

It's not bias. It's just lazy commentating.

Their not going to shut the roof on a sunny day. The roof is ment for Rainy & Cold days/nights. 22 degrees & fine, with not a cloud in the sky.

did you know that the idiots who built telstra dome/colonial stadium actually built it facing the wrong way. it was actually meant to be built sideways to counteract midday sun so it wouldn't beam onto the ground. As it turned out they forgot about it and now we all have to put up with those stupid shadows...

Hawks outplayed the Crows and should have won by more. How about the push in the back that Brown should have received?

I watched it last night, it got game of the week (about time a Crows game got game of the week)

and Blighty isn't bias, indeed he hardly says anything after the crows kick goals. He loves Macca though, you can tell that. I like to think Blighty has a soft spot for the Crows, but he doesn't show it.

The same reason why it's the "stupid Victorians" fault for building Telstra Stadium the wrong way. In short - it's not you nor I's fault but I'll continue to tackle Victorian prejudice in this state as an ex-pat!

It is a nice place though I'll give you that - but I'll always be a Victorian!
