not sure if there's been a thread on this before but 4 of us went to see Before the Game on Saturday night (April 5)
had a great time, aker was great with the audience, roughead was pretty nervous but said hi to the audience as well.
of the panellists, lehmo was a classic. spoke to us like we were at a party together, very funny and down to earth bloke. mad a lot of time to speak with us. hughesy was fantastic also, those 2 were brilliant and i like them a lot more now. mick molloy was pretty good, andy maher was good but obviously ran the panel and did a lot of his work between the ads but was pretty friendly to the audience. even grabbed my missus carlton scarf and said that we'll win tomorrow (i said scarf!)
what struck me was how much of a snooty bitch sam lane was. did not look up once during the ad breaks, waltzed in at the start and didn't even look at the audience unlike the others, did not talk ONCE to other panellists during the ad break, just looked down at her paperwork and scribbled and didn't turn once towards mick molloy. she had the most sour look on her face all night and looked like it was painful to be there.
no shit, she was only there because she was getting paid for it, did not look like she was enjoying it one bit.
has anyone else ever been to see this show live?
