Towards the end of last weekend I started to think about what to watch on Sunday night on FTA TV. Without looking at the TV book I tried to recall what was on and I could only recall a movie on 9 "Don't Say a Word (...I'll never telllll)" and a new Law and Order series. Not totally happy with only 2 choices I realised I had no idea what was on Channel 7 for Sunday night (wasn't anything good anyway).

This got me thinking why couldn't I remember what Channel 7 was showing on Sunday night? I knew exactly what the other stations were showing after seeing their shows advertised heavily over the weekend. It then hit me that I hadn't watched anything on Channel 7 over the weekend... in fact I hadn't really watched anything on Channel 7 all week, or for most of the month.

I realised that apart from Sunrise in the mornings there was NO shows on Channel 7 that I regularly watch. Is it just me or do other people also think that Channel 7 have the crapiest shows on TV?

Cheers

Top 20 programs last week - Seven had 1 and that was Home & Away which is not in an overly important timeslot and has lost some audience to Big Brother this week. Nine's four 8:30 shows and two of Ten's rate higher than Seven's best show. This is partly because of the quality of the shows but also because they change their schedule more often than the Footy Show runs overtime.

Message for Channel 7:
Make up your mind about your schedule, stick to it for a year or two and you just might get people to start watching it regularly

I watch 110% and King of the Hill on Mondays (this has become my "late night Monday" routine. Couple of great shows.

Other than that I watched Talking Footy up to last week but will now change over to The Sopranos - might tape Talking Footy though.

The only other show I catch is my guilty little pleasure, My Resturaunt Rules (Go Perth!) - but I'm not really religiously into it and have missed a few shows along the way.

I too have Sunrise on in the mornings but usually only catch about 10-15 minutes of it while I'm having breakfast. Best breakfast TV, they at least have got this one right.

So that's a little breakfast TV, a couple of 10:30 starting sports chat shows (one of them loses out to 9's show), a long forgotten late night American cartoon and occasionally catching the Resturaunt show - seemingly, I'm probably an above average 7 veiwer :D ;)

Ditto (except this week, as much as I love Ash and Amanda, I'd go for Bris-Vegas this week only because I don't believe in the sympathy vote after Peter won BB2), however I also like Alias, My Wife & Kids and That 70's Show on seven.

They have double eps of King of the hill on Mondays. :D

Damn straight.

Wish Mike Judge would hurry up with the release of the DVD's though. Only up to Season 3 now.

Channel 7 have 24 and Alias at the gayest timeslot.

Alias should be 8:30 Thursday's.
24 should be 8:30 Monday's.

What was up with all the promotion for having Alias two nights a week...then bloody Shanghai Noon is on Thursday night

When I read this thread, I actually had to think long and hard about Channel 7 shows I do watch.

I watch 'Home and Away' regularly, and 'Talking Footy' and 'Popstars Live' occasionally because my sister watches them.

That's about it really.

That 70s Show wasn't rating, Alias didn't do well in it's one Thursday night so they gave up. They're showing Thursday night movies for the next few weeks.

Got me thinking too, kaysee.

I'm in exactly the same boat as your good self. Not a single show over the whole week.

The last and only program I've watched on Seven for the last 30 odd months is 24.

If Channel 10 got That 70's Show they would put it on at a different time slot and it would do very well for them.

Ha hahahahahaha...

Oh you're serious.

The only reason that the 7 button on my remote isn't covered in dust is because I watch the History Channel from time to time.

JAG is usually on Thursday nights at 7.30 or 8.30.It'll probably replace that My Restaurant Sucks crap.Surely that finishes in a week or 2.
Don't watch it but based on the ads I think one restaurant gets knocked out every two weeks and the 2nd of 5 goes this Sunday. That means about another 4 weeks of it. JAG returns 7:30 Saturday May 15 with BH&G moving to 6:30 to replace Popstars
