You were promised to be able to see all of your team's games live on FTA, instead you get a delayed, condensed highlights package sandwiched between bloody V8 car racing and half an hour of garden variety lifestyle crap. You're damn right! I shall start writing .... mind you, it's not just in Sydney, the broadcast starts at 3 in Melbourne too. Although the Sydney broadcast is of course cut short by 30 mins.

I'm not gonna bother posting the expletives i did on the match thread again cause it will just make my whole day worse by getting me worked up so early...**** it.

**** you channel seven, what happened to our promise that we could see all our games either live or 30 mins from live (which is a ****ing joke in itself). you wanna ****ing grow the game in sydney then show our boys' games live you ****ing *****. i tried to find an email to which i could send an expletive filled letter to on the seven website but i cbf trawling through all of hte crap they have on there. and BTW who the **** watches the v8 supercars other than drunk bogans out at Bathurst? nobody gives a **** about motorsports or v8 supercars, it is all a bunch of shit.

**** you channel seven. i truly hope channel ten wins full rights next time for free to air. they are already so much better in broadcasting the game, the only thing seven has going for it is Dennis and he has absolute dipshits sitting around him in Bruce, Ox and Tim Watson.

Where can you watch it online? Although I doubt my connection would be fast enough, I've got ADSL.

Just search "my p2p" in google and it should come up as one of the first ones, I used it to watch a bit of Carlton-Port last week. Good quality. There also looks like a way to chat down the side bar so if we get people watching it together at least we can coment.

After working in television for 10 years I understand scheduling conflicts happen from time to time. But with Channel 7, it is constant. Channel 10 manages to cover the AFL flawlessly. Why does Channel 7 buy the rights to the AFL when they have absolutely no intention of providing AFL supporters with a decent service?

I very much look forward to an explaination as to why the Sydney Swans match is not only delayed by an hour this week, but the content also edited down. It's not good enough.

I understand that scheduling conflicts happen from time to time - Fox Sports had to give up its News Channel for two hours for a soccer match once! - but can you explain to me, please, why the Bathurst Car Racing takes precedence in Sydney to an AFL match containing the Sydney Swans? I'd understand Adelaide and Perth perhaps getting the one hour delay-editted version, but Melbourne and Sydney both deserve the game live.

I understand your slogan a few years ago was "Footy back where it belongs" or something similar. If this is where footy belongs, it will be dead in 10 years. You're coverage has been an absolute disgrace over the past few years, and your handling of the Grand Final bordered on the absurd. For a supposed classic footy channel, you seem desperate to cut to your news or an add break at the most inapropriate times - case in point, changing to the news before the Hawks sung their victory song after the Grand Final.

You don't deserve the rights to the AFL unless you clean your act up, and fast.

Channel 7 doesn't deserve the rights to the AFL as all fans seem to be treated with contempt.

Can't wait until someone else buys the rights, as then we know anything is better than what your channel currently offers.

Sorry it has to be said, but the AFL is trying to grow the game in the Sydney market, but Channel 7 seems to stunt that growth.

Get your act together, you're only hurting your own reputation.

Yer, well I reckon the new TV rights won't include CH7, they stuff they viewers all over Aus around. CH9, 10 and FoxSports

Channel 7 are useless it's not on till midnight here because of the supercars then the dockers game. why didn't they work out a deal to do the saturday games or the late sunday game, rather then show delayed games cause they can't get their sh*t together surely they could of seen this coming. The less said about the friday night game the better, pushed back to 8:30 for an episode of better homes and gardens. for **** sake.

Dear Channel Seven,

What the hell is with delaying the Swans game by an hour? And for the bloody V8 supercars? This is just another example of channel 10 doing the AFL in Sydney as well as generally far better than you bunch of clowns do things. I personally cant wait for the summary of one of the quarters that i have no doubt will come on Sunday. It's just as good as watching it live...

I would have thought a game against the biggest club in Australia at the home of the AFL for Sydney would be a dead certainity to be shown live. Arent you guys partly responsible for ensuring that the game in NSW and Sydney keeps growing? Shouldnt you guys be doing your part by making the big game live?

Thank you for spoiling my Sunday afternoon and thank you for making the afternoons of the 7 extra people who will enjoy the V8 Supercars.

What you are doing with your AFL programming in sydney and Melbourne is an absolute disgrace. How can you possibly think it's acceptable to show the Sydney/Collingwood game (which is a big game between two big clubs) delayed by an hour with the first half edited into a highlights package. I know the rights are Ch 7 and 10, though arent there conditions in the contract?
Dindnt they go straight to the news after Micky Os 300th game? No song, no footage of tribute etc..
