Did anybody else head to Fed Sqaure today???

I did and it was awesome. Got to see The Cat Empire, Dashboard Confessional and 28 Days!

I love 28 days and they played 3 out of my 4 fave songs, so i was stoked. Dash were awesome, but only got to see a bit of The Cat Empire.

Was about a metre away from Andrew G, Chloe Maxwell and/or Jay Dunn the whole time. Such a good afternoon!

I think that they are good at what they do.... just like certain other bands and artists, you have to respect them for their talent, even if the music they produce isn't to your taste.

i was thinkin about heading in there today, but i didn't... i'm a fan of both the days and the cat empire... how long were their sets??

will probably see the cat empire 2morrow night, not sure when i'll catch the days... looking forward to hearin their new ****, although i hope it's better than 'like i d'o...

and as for bagging the cat empire... i wasn't that big a fan of them, but i saw them at falls, and they're awesome live, so i bought the CD and i like it, even though i'm a rock fan... looking forward to catchin them again 2morrow...

PS: I'm Drunk

28 Days played two or three songs from their new album, sounded pretty good... more Upstyledown rather than Stealing Chairs. That was just warming up though, then they did Like I Do, Sucker, Goodbye, Say What, Rip It Up and then I had to leave.... apparently finished with Never Give Up.

I arrived a bit late so only saw about three songs from The Cat Empire... not sure as to how many they did.

I was watching this on Channel [V] at home, and it looked like a really good day out. 28 Days went off at the end, one of the best sets I've seen from them (I've seen them live 4 times); they really seemed to be getting right into it and enjoying themselves. I still think Jedi Master Jay is a bit of a tosser, but the rest of the band is great value at concerts and smaller gigs like this.

I went and saw cat empire for there one song that they played. I had to go after that coz I had to meet some people but my friends stayed till the end and they seemed to have a good time.

i think channel v in febuary was the worst i had ever seen, it was so boring, all they showed was the same old boring live bands play the same songs ova and ova again...talk bout boring...o well, they betta hav a more interesting month for march! :D

At least it would've been free.I couldn't imagine any suckers paying to see The Crap Empire.

Not a patch on John Farnham, eh Jubs?

I'll forgive you though, yet to find a 30-something who has an open mind to hip hop.

So did you go in your school uniform, or did you wear your imitation Avril punk costume with the brand new trucker hat accessory?
