That would have to be Gardiner's last game? The kick from inside 50 with 10 secs to go summed it all up.

Could not agree with you more, has to be dropped. Battling big time. Cant keep his feet to save himself.

Good to see you've all jumped on.

When i started calling for him to be dropped (about Round 7) the vast majority defended him and his record.

Haynes should have gardiner's role across HF.

Of course he should, but sadly he's not in the coaches pocket nor is he seen as a 'potential superstar' by those that matter so he's not likely to get a fair go.

Haynes has got to stay despite how stupid he is. Showed a little bit today

Sorry I can't agree. Yes he got the ball but his decision making and disposal is just disgraceful. Agree about Gardiner as well. Cannot see us kicking a winning score against anyone at the moment.

Previous posts on here with show I'm not a 'Mule Boot' fan, however at the moment he is the best of what is an empty cupboard. Who would you have in instead of both Haynes & Gardiner?

I rate Haynes and have said since last year that he should be in our side because he always attacks the ball and has a crack..
As for Gardiner....Replace him with a tree..We wouldnt lose any possessions from the swap, itd cover as much ground as Charlie, it wouldnt fall over all the time, the ball would bounce off it and hit more targets than Charlie, and as a bonus, the ball could get stuck in it, which means its a mark! Sorry Charlie, but at the moment, we've gotta go with the tree.

LOL @ the Tree.

Pre-draft report: Tree stands up in a contested situation however there is a question mark over his mobility.

Charlie is in a little bit of a form slump at the moment but I'm sure he'll get himself out of it eventually.

Haynes was OK yesterday. He took some good marks and one of the things I like about him is that he leads to the ball. His kicking is still to be questioned.

Charlie will be dropped for the next game, and I'd imagine Mackie will take his spot. Charlie was good early this season and his rotation through CHF with H was working well. Unfortunately, when H struggles or is not there, Charlie has to play as a more permanent CHF, something he cannot do as he is not big enough. This is not an excuse for him, as he has played some shockers with H firing. But to say that he should've been dropped 6 weeks ago is a bit unfair, he'd probably only had 1 bad game until then and was playing solidly. He now needs to return to the 2s and get some form back, I have every confidence in him, that he can make it at AFL level and be a very unique player, but most importantly he needs to fix his goal kicking. A newspaper article said that McCarthy has fixed his kicking, so therefore Charlie can do it too. He will be back, he just needs some confidence.
