Tredrea had a few good seasons and has been a fine foward in the past, but ..... that was the past.

Most Port fans accept that Tredrea is past his prime and that Pavlich is a gun, the thread originated because in 05 Pav got AA CHF when some thought perhaps Tredrea deserved it considering in many ways, it was a superior season to his other AA years.

Tredrea has achieved more in his career by winning the main prize but Pav has time on his side. Tredrea is on the decline while Pav is in his prime for a few more years.I am very confident that Pav can at least equal Tredreas achievments and when he hangs up his boots be considered one of the all time great CHF's

Was Tredrea a better performed CHF over 2004/5 than Pavlich? Quite possibly, but irrelevant all the same.

Would I rather have Tredrea in my team right now ahead of Pavlich? Not a chance.
