I sat in the cheersquad last night, the mood for fairly loud most the night however with 10 mins remaining the tiger army song was sung over and over untill at least 20 mins after the game it was bloody amazing and was good fun considering we got flogged, and the best part was we couldnt hear the sydney song over our singing:D

SCG= peice of shit ground they didnt even play richmonds song as they ran through the banner but then played sydneys 3 times(which we sang richmonds over the top of it)

Thy are a bunch of fereal clowns, who only care about the Sydney Swans. I know a guy who supports Sydney and tries to sink the boot into me and I would not have a bar of anyone who belittles another team. I do not like the Sydney Swans because the media in Sydney thinks there is one team in the AFL competition. I am proud of the way we played last night because the SYdney Swams beat basically a team of boys. Barry Hall thought he could intimidate us and get roughed up by a kid playing his 1st game. I wonder if he could do that against the teams in the eight for the finals.

it was great fun and was good to see the players look over to us as we were singing and you could tell a few were upset that they couldnt deliver us a win, long drive up to sydney though i just finished my 10 hr drive home:p

No it wasn't. I was on the same side of the ground and I certainly didn't hear it from 10 minutes to go.

well you obviously have no clue what you talking about

Maybe they do not understand the game of hear the crowd support for the other team. They might not realise there are 15 other teams in the AFL. I hope they finish lower part of the 8. Than they can say . Than the excuses why they were not good enough in 2007 will come out :thumbsu:

I was sitting just next to the cheer squad with a couple of recent Swans converts and it was a real laugh!
In between them yelling out, "come on ref" & "nice catch" & "knock-on" they could not believe how vocal & passionate the Tigers supporters were even though getting beaten. (There was envy there)
This is something that no-one can take away from us...

The chanting started about the 18min mark of the final quarter and went til at least 15mins after the final siren.

Well the acoustics must have been really shitty for the noise from that storm you were kicking up failing to reach from in front of the Bradman stand to the Messenger.

Haha, that didn't ****ing happen.

Seriously, every moronic supporter with an axe to grind comes out with that bull. I've been going to the footy in Sydney all my life and the worst I've heard is calling the umpire a ref, which quite frankly means two fifths of **** all to anybody with a bit of intelligence.

Mate I'm sorry, but it did! But that is OK. I'm more than happy to introduce my non-AFL mates to the beauty of our game, and even to the fold of your Swans. All the better for the future of the game to grow the support base further. They enjoyed the fact that they were only learning the ropes. (Plus they enjoyed hanging it on me that the Tigers got thumped) PLUS, they admired the hundreds of loyal Tiger followers who just enjoyed a night at the footy. :thumbsu:
