Apparently Hudson-Odoi was great again this morning against Inter, with Sarri allegedly saying "Well done boy!" when he came off.

Hope he stays and can play as Hazard's back up.

Ampadu has also had a great preseason and should get alot of minutes this season.

Im a bit surprised RLC hasnt taken it on himself and returned early to try and impress.

Had a quick look at the Megastore Asia to check out kits - $180!!! Holy s**t!

Is this because of Nike? I swear the Adidas kits weren't this much.

The authentic ones are always about $180 and they are the skin tight ones the players wear. The other one is the looser fitting one and thats the usual price and the one i get.

In better news, Kovacic on loan for the season. My fifa pipedream might be a reality in a few hours.

Not too fussed about losing Courtois. Has underperformed in many big games, lets too many in through the legs, has a poor attitude when it suits him and doesn't seem to have the leadership the great keepers do.

Also a big chance we'll have a new captain soon. Azpi the obvious choice I would think.

That could easily be the XI we roll out on the weekend but i feel like a few spots are definitely still up for grabs at LB, that 3rd midfield spot and up top.

Suspect we won't know what Sarri's best team looks like for a little while.

I think this is probably spot on.

It's amazing looking at that lineup, so much change in the last 3 years. Of that XI only Hazard, Willian, Azpi and Fabregas have survived/stayed since 2015.

My two cents on Courtois... It's a loss, he's a brilliant goalkeeper. Yes he has made errors in big games (notably the tie against Barca recently) but he's also put in some huge performances (PSG away '15). I rate him and I think he will be the no.1 at Madrid for a long time.

However it looks like we've got a very decent replacement, haven't seen much of Kepa but clearly for that fee he must have something special!
