At a media call on Monday for the MTV Classic launch Angry Anderson invited Slash to "come have a blow with us" at Cherry.

it looks like there is a convenient mistake with the set times. matt sonic is said to be playing twice, the second time is on the main stage right before rose tattoo. i wonder why that would be.

Not sure about the "overblown hack" comment though - he put on a fine show on Wednesday night. The boy knows how to play and he's put together a crack band for his world tour.

Each to his own mate. You could walk into just about any venue in Melbourne on a saturday night and see a better local guitarist....and they wouldn't charge $40K to appear.

On someones recommendation on this site (Omit or Suspense I think) I bought Beaches album that came out in 2008 and freaking loved it. Have they released anything since or does anyone know if anything is in the works?
