Not sure what you mean by 'make an impact'. Woosha usually plays him in a defensive or run with role, so his stats won't ever be great (except for tackles). That doesn't necessarily mean he hasn't been contributing.
 
He is such a hack - will be lucky to play 10 games this year - maybe more if WCE are totally dreadful. But you;d be hoping you can move on from a goose like Chick surely?

That's exactly right, and a lot of people miss that fact.
 
Chicks faded no worse than Headland who was obviously picked up by Fremantle the same year. In fact the Headland deal left Fremantle with only 1 pick in the first 47 of the 2002 draft, no doubting they did well picking up Schammer at 13, but that sort of thing creates a lack of depth. Still at least Freo have learnt from it and haven't traded away all your picks since......
 
Chicky is a gun, but i must say he hasnt had the impact at West Coast that he had at the Hawks. He is playing in a different possie, but he is certainly not a hack, Freo supporters :rolleyes: Flagless....

Chick > Pavlich. Pavlich is soft and always will be - see Derby 20 for an example of how he gets shut down. Chick is accountable for his player and is much harder.

Regardless of who he plays for, you need to respect him for the 2-time AA player he is; just as we respect Judd or Kerr. Just as you do Reiwold.

Chicks just at the end of his career; Worsfold will probably see him out end of this season.

Did he actually deserve AA honors in either year? Or was it just part of the "freo flavour of the month" thing that happened when Freo actually got off the bottom?

Just like we are entitled to think Freo players suck(as they rightly do;)) so we must put up with likewise feelings:) No need for swearing and telling people where to go.

All right I've just grown up. But that does'nt change the fact that the Dockers still suck and the fans still have a chips on their shoulders.

Chick may end his career at the end of the year, but we've got the depth to not even notice he's gone.

Should'nt have to hold our tongue cause a inbred from a loser club(Dockers) starts trolling on OUR board.
 
Chick is a good player, hard worker and unselfish team member. He had some great matches last year (e.g. Rd 19 vs Brisbane and Rd 20 vs Carlton). He's Accountable for his player and I look forward to seeing him play in 2005.

Off topic, one comment I'd make is that he always looks stressed in interviews, even back in his Hawthorn days.
